Background

Dr. Ashley (Shiver) Mincey grew up on the space coast, and graduated from Satellite High before moving to Georgia for further schooling and beyond. The first chiropractic adjustment she witnessed was performed on the horse she rode throughout high school and from that moment forward, she was mesmerized by the profession and wanted to know more.

She graduated from the University of Georgia with her B.S. in Animal and Dairy Science while competing on their cross country, indoor and outdoor track & field teams. After she finished up in Athens, she moved to Atlanta (Marietta) to start chiropractic school at Life University. Always knowing she would serve animals too, she started the AVCA (American Veterinary Chiropractic Association) animal chiropractic program while working towards her (human) chiropractic degree. Following graduation, she worked as a coverage doctor in and around the Atlanta area for about a year while her (now) husband searched and found another golf professional position in Florida.

Thankfully we were able to return to the space coast, be close to family and started up a human and animal chiropractic practice (New Wave Chiropractic) in April 2018! We are so grateful to serve our community and be home!
